My friend is and has always been in an abusive household. Yesterday while talking about the abuse he suffered as a child things escalated and his family decided to chase him out of his grandparents house. He walked for over an hour, was alone, without his shoes or wallet.
His mom refused to pick him up, or carry his belongings back to his hometown. His grandma even called the cops on him even though the only thing he did was leave the house. His mom is an attention seeker and a manipulative person, although she’s made comments about the situation (and obviously made it seem like she is the victim) she hasn’t tried to contact my friend. She is also reading all of his messages.
My friend is staying at his aunt’s place for now and doesn’t know when he’ll be able to go back to his hometown. He doesn’t have all of his personal items. I’m worried about him going back home to his mom’s shitshow.
Did you notice the misgendering? fucking great innit?

Hey guys, if I’m ever being/becoming toxic, don’t be afraid to unfollow and/or call me out on it. I want to keep this blog and myself as a safe place and person to talk to as much as possible.
We all are capable of change and I respect your decision if you chooss to leave. Please give me tips so I can work on myself so that it’s not a continuous problem if I become that way.
lazy mornings, open windows, foreign languages, used books, small cafés, excited text messages, art galleries, sundresses, cobbled streets, fresh air, filled notebooks, feeling completely at ease, content smiles
